My small Maine Vacation

I recently went to Maine for 4 days and 3 nights. I visited my sister who goes to high school in Poland Springs, Maine. We stayed in a hotel in Portland and went to Freeport, Downtown Portland, and an arcade called Jokers. In Freeport every where you look are stores to shop in. Most of them were clothing stores that I wasn't really interested in, but my sister was! I liked the nike and reebok stores that they had. Downtown Portland is like the same thing, but it is closer to the water. There were alot more souvenier stores in downtown Portland and there was a restaurant on a boat that was docked in the water. I had a big lobster there that was 1 1/8 lb. and it was really good. We also went to an arcade place called Jokers. We played tons of arcade games and even played laser tag when we were there too. There are big card board walls with holes in them and they glow in the dark. It is pitch black and you have to try and shot the targets on the other peoples vests. We played with only the whole family and my dad won. He won because he would hide behind the big walls, so no one will see him and then shot anyone who walked by. It was very fun and one of the best vacations ever!

I picked this quote because to me it is saying that you should live your life and reach your goals. You shouldnt go and do drugs and achohol because that only makes your life shorter. Choose what you do wisely and dont let drugs and achohol get to you.

My Summer Vacation

This summer I went to many places, but my favorite place of all was Disney World in Florida. This was only my second time going and I had a blast. I went on almost all the rides even the new upside down rollercoaster, Rockin Roll roller coaster featuring Aerosmith.

When you first go in the building they show you a little play thing on a screen. The band takes you to a concert and you ride a super car that goes really fast to get you to the concert on time. When you first enter the ride there are speakers that are in your ears connected to your harness. They sout in your ear, 1, 2, 3 lean back and go! You go from 0 to 60 mph in 2.6 seconds! Your are in the dark looking at all the street signs. The ride is so smooth that you dont even feel the flips. It was the best roller coaster I have ever went on.
